Voice & Piano Lessons
I’ve been teaching voice & piano lessons for over 15 years and started my own private studio 6 years ago. I teach a wide range of ages, levels, and musical styles and tailor my teaching to the needs of the student. A high-quality musical education is important, but music should be fun too! Being a member of my studio gives each student the opportunity to learn/hone their skills, perform, and be a part of a supportive musical community. My student(s) have been chosen for Seattle Opera’s Teen Vocal Studio, participated in the state level for the Washington Solo and Ensemble Festival, participated in the national OAKE choir, have earned roles in local musical theater productions, school productions, as well as perform regularly with community choral groups.

About Me
MY NAME IS erica convery
I received my Masters degree in vocal performance/vocal pedagogy from the prestigious Peabody Institute and have since performed with Seattle Opera, Maryland Lyric Opera, Opera Lancaster, Berks Opera Company, the Singer’s Theater of Washington, Bel Cantanti Opera, Utah Festival Opera, Bellevue City Opera, and Tacoma Opera. I have also performed recitals at both Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. I am currently a a member of Seattle Opera’s regular chorus, the Mägi Ensemble, and the Emerald Ensemble, as well as the select choral ensemble, Chorosynthesis, which placed 2nd in the American Prize in Choral Performance, Professional Division.
